Foxfire has brought the philosophy of simple-living to hundreds of thousands of readers, teaching creative self-sufficiency and preserving the music, stories, crafts, and customs of Appalachia. The Foxfire 45th Anniversary Book is a piece of living history from a fascinating American culture. This cover design hopes to capture the ambiance of the subject matter and the aesthetic of the original self-distributed magazine that the Foxfire students created and distributed five decades ago. The subsequent images are 12 e-book covers I produced for this ongoing series.
